Duck hunting with Don

	Duck hunting isn't for the faint at heart, you have to get up damn! early for this stuff. Joe came to pick me up around 4:30, then we drove at warp speed to get out to Bastrop. We met up with the Dons about an hour or so later. After meeting up, we followed the Dons to the tank. We gathered our gear and began to setup. This was my first duck hunt and it was a great experience. I have never heard a flock of ducks come in before. They sounded like planes flying overhead when they landed. Soon Don gave the signal and it was game time. It went pretty quick. Too fast for my liking. The next hunt, we went to a different tank. When it came time to start it was much slower and more relaxed. I really enjoyed that hunt. I picked up a blue wing and green wing teal. A few others but those two were a nice prize for me. The vast majority of people never get to experience this, I am very greatful to have had the chance. Thanks go out to Don, Don, and Joe.
